The Beloved Book by Ken Kesey, Now Adapted for the Stage at the Beck Center for the Arts

See the classic work of counter-culture literature adapted for the stage at this incredible production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! The Beck Center for the Arts hosts this series of special performances that invite guests to watch the beloved story come to life.

This critically-acclaimed play based on the novel by Ken Kesey tells the story of institutional madness where obedience and conformity are the only acceptable indications of good mental health. The story’s hero and charming rogue, Randle Patrick McMurphy, instantly questions the asylum's procedures. He begins to rally his fellow patients in increasingly greater acts of independence. When these acts are not tolerated, McMurphy learns the authorities and Nurse Ratched have terrible ways of enabling conformity. See how he triumphs over the smothering staff in this wonderful metaphor for the human spirit!
